Hosted is a horror project for a 3D animation short, aimed for teenager audiences.
The story evolves in an orphanage where our protagonist is transferred after her parents were murdered in a very gore manner. After this honorific experience, she starts to notice that strange things are happening in the orphanage.
Every week, a child gets adopted, but with the time we can feel that something is wrong, strange noises are occurring during the night and some screams can be heard. It feels like if there were tons of rats through the ceilings. Until one day we some kind of monster, but for some reason the caregiver refuse to believe that.
At the end, we end up discovering that the caregiver was making dolls of the corpuses that the big rat was leaving behind, selling them as "adoptions". But now she tries to get rid of us, but all of a sudden, when all was lost for our protagonist, a monster appears from inside of us, killing the caregiver.
We were hosted, but from the very beginning, but we didn't know, the thing that killed our family was the thing that saved our live.
